Toyota chopped a big 18-point lead by Crispa-Floro, in the last quarter but lost this and five of its men as well and dropped a close 80-78 decision in overtime last night in another MICAA thriller.

A side jumper by Rey Pages with five seconds left broke a 78-all tie forged by Comet Fortunato Acuna and sealed Crispa’s second straight victory before another full house at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Yco steamrolled Universal Textiles, 95-70, and defending champion Mariwasa-Akai humbled its former coach and Concepcion Industries, 84-74, to keep their two-way tie for the lead with three wins each.
